What is all the use of the IR-receiver module?

The principle of function is open and flexible: Everything what you can type on the keyboard or move and click with the mouse can be controlled now by remote control! If you know the concept of macros, you will have an idea how it works.

Whether music box , video recorder, DVD-Player, (Powerpoint-) presentation or the dia show with the photos of your digital camera: All these applications can be controlled now with comfort - by remote control!
(The receiver doesn't substitute an IrDA interface, used e.g. for communication between PC and mobile phone or PDA organizer).

Useful functions as switching off the PC, or driving it in standby mode (energy saving and silence) are ready to use pre-configured.
