Which PC is suitable?

Every PC with a processor of class Pentium 166MHz or higher is suitable. We also offer a Notebook or Via EPIA™ mainboard suited version of the IR receiver. Operating-systems: Windows 9X, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Linux.

In order to plug in the Module a 9 pole serial interface connector is needed.
If your PC has only the 25 pole variant, you can use adapters to 9 pole.

For using the PC as music box or video player low-noise operation is especially desirable: Here you find some hints for it!
